She’s impossibly glamorous without, I think, meaning to be. London born model, designer, and mother of four India Hicks is an expert on all things related to island living.

Her father is famous interior decorator David Hicks and her mother is Pamela Hicks, daughter to the Earl and Countess Mountbatten of Burma. Her grandfather was the last Viceroy of India, where she gets her name.

The cool British-yness doesn’t stop there. India’s godfather is the Prince of Wales and she was a bridesmaid in his and Lady Diana’s wedding. You can read more of her bio. on her Web site.

Aside from all that, India exudes this captivating brand of casual elegance while admitting her insecurities and hopes and joys via her blog. I appreciate that kind of down to earth girl. She seems like the kind of person who would respond to a compliment with, “Oh, this old thing?” and really mean it.
