Ah, the oft-neglected entryway. It’s the first room that receives your guests (and more importantly, you, unless you come in through the garage) and sometimes the room that gets the least attention.
Even the simplest of foyers can be welcoming. If yours is no more than a slip of tile that leads to carpet (our old apartment didn’t even have that), you still have options: a small table next to the door; above it, some art or an interesting key hook. Walk through your doorway with your eyes wide open– if you see an empty wall, consider slapping some art on that baby.
