When I need a dose of soulfulness and the internets are at hand, I go to Soule Mama, aka Amanda Blake Soule. Her blog is a meditation on family life and country living. She’s a crafter, seamstress, and all around very lovely person with great ideas. I picked up Handmade Home: Simple Ways to Repurpose Old Materials into New Family Treasures from the library last week (I spend a lot of time there–you may have picked up on that). It’s filled with bits of fun like the banner on the cover. Almost all the projects can be made from things you already have laying around. I know I have some of the Little Guy’s old clothes just waiting to be given new life.
