This is a trend that’s not going away, people. I for one don’t want to see it go. I love the idea of a teeny little world on display, like this wee woodland scene from Dimpledot.

I also like this set of “natural history” teardrop-shaped terrariums from Tall Poppy Gardens on etsy. The succulent is low maintenance and the colors of the plant combined with the reindeer moss, seashells, and lovely feather are gentle reminders of nature’s beauty.

These Pottery Barn terrariums are so pretty. I can see them housing spring arrangements (as shown) or set out at Christmastime, filled with holly or potted poinsettias.

Kitschy or no, I think each one is lovely.
