I don’t know if this counts as Life at the Castle, but it’s definitely my life apart from the internets. This week my work colleagues and I joined forces at Fernwood Botanical Gardens for a team retreat. We were allowed to walk around in the afternoon (after swallowing lessons on KPIs and story beats — sigh) and there was a surprising number of plants in bloom. Some looked a bit, uh, spent. But it is almost fall after all (aka tall boots and pumpkin spice season).
The cutest little chile plant ever, bottom left.

Oh hi. And this.
A mind-blowing stick sculpture by Patrick Dougherty. More here.
